This is another day that is planned close to a holiday when we might have a lot of families out of town.  Everyone brings in one type of building toy and we all sign up for what to bring ahead of time.  (That way if you are bringing Legos, all the Legos in the room go home with you.)  We have had blocks (please bring a blanket as well to subdue some of the noise made by falling towers), Legos, PVC piping, newspaper rolls, Duplos, etc….  Any time of building toy is welcome.
